Crossroads Cultural Connections will present an extraordinary evening of live music with multi-grammy nominated singer-songwriter Ingrid Andress on Monday, May 11 at Bishop Hill Creative Commons, with opening support from Angela Meyer.
Andress has quickly become one of the most compelling voices in modern country and pop music, known for her deeply personal songwriting and captivating live performances. She returns with her latest single, “Now I Know,” a powerful and relatable reflection on growth, resilience, and embracing the unknown. The song offers a glimpse into her forthcoming third studio album, expected later this year.
Andress first gained widespread attention with her debut album “Lady Like,” which became one of Billboard’s Top 10 Best Country Albums of the Year and set the record as the highest-streaming country female debut album upon release. The album features her multi-platinum No. 1 single “More Hearts Than Mine,” which made history as the only debut single from a solo female artist to break into the Top 20 on country radio in 2019. The project earned Andress Grammy nominations for Best Country Album and Best Country Song, alongside a Best New Artist nomination—making her the only country artist nominated in a “Big Four” category that year.
Opening the evening is Angela Meyer, a regional favorite whose honest songwriting and dynamic performances resonate deeply with audiences. Raised in a family steeped in country music, Meyer began playing guitar at age 10 and writing songs by 15, quickly turning her passion into a career. Her latest release, “Legions & Legends,” showcases her authentic voice and connection to the traditions of country music.
Presented by Crossroads Cultural Connections, this concert continues the organization’s mission of bringing meaningful, high-quality live music experiences to Henry County and surrounding communities.
The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with an optional potluck dinner, offering guests a chance to gather and connect before the performance. Attendees are welcome to bring a dish to share if they wish to participate. The concert will begin at 7 p.m.
The event is open to all ages, with a suggested donation of $20–$30.
