The Kewanee Voice is organizing a Kewanee Christmas “Drive of Lights” in hopes of making the holidays merrier and brighter for area residents.

The plan is to compile a list of Kewanee homeowners who wish to have their lighting displays be a part of the drive. The list will then be turned into a downloadable, printable map that people can use to visit Kewanee’s Christmas lighting displays.

Residents who would like their property included on the Drive of Lights map should send their address, with the subject line Drive of Lights to kewaneevoiceadvertising@gmail.com.

The deadline for submitting your address will be Wednesday, Dec. 4 and the map will be published on The Kewanee Voice website on Saturday, Dec. 7, the day before the annual lighting of Windmont and Northeast parks on Sunday, Dec. 8.

So, get those lights up on your house, put Santa, a snowman or a Nativity scene in the yard and dazzle the public during The Kewanee Voice’s Drive of Lights!
