Police were flagged down by a motorist having severe chest pains in the 200 block of Main Street. Stark County Medic was paged and transported the subject to an area hospital.

Police responded to a loud music complaint in the 100 block of North Center Avenue.
Police conducted a welfare check in the 300 block of Front Street. The subject was fine.
Police assisted a motorist at the Galva Park District.
Police responded to a couple of different 9-1-1 calls at the Galva Park District during the Backroads Music Festival. They were determined to be pocket dials.
Police responded to a report of a tree limb that had fallen and was entangled in the power lines in the 200 block of SE 5th Avenue. Ameren was contacted to remove the wires.
Police conducted a welfare check at a residence on NE 3rd Street. The subject was fine.
Police responded to a 9-1-1 hang-up in the 300 block of SE 2nd Street. It was determined to be a misdial.
Jason Harden, 50, Bloomington, was arrested for resisting a police officer and criminal trespass to property after police assisted event security with a physical struggle to remove an unwanted subject at the Backroads Music Festival. He was taken to Henry County Jail.

Aug. 10:
Police assisted two intoxicated subjects who were walking in the 500 block of SE 2nd Street.
Lucas Nelson, 24, Galva, was arrested for domestic battery following police response to a 9-1-1 open line call that plotted in the 600 block of NW 7th Street. He was taken to Henry County Jail.
Police responded to a neighbor dispute in the 600 block of NW 1st Street.
Police were notified of a repossession taking place in the 200 block of NW 7th Avenue.
