
A Galva man was arrested Thursday for possession and dissemination of child sexual abuse materials.
Dalton J. Leverette, 26, of Galva was arrested after Galva police, along with federal and state law enforcement partners, executed a search warrant at a home in the 400 block of Northeast First Street in Galva.

Galva police reported Thursday that Leverette was charged with possession of child sexual abuse materials and non-consensual dissemination of sexually explicit digitized material.
“Formal charges are currently being reviewed by the Henry County State’s Attorney’ office,” according to a news release from the police. Leverette was being held in the Henry County Jail pending his first court appearance.
The operation was conducted with assistance from Homeland Security Investigations, the Moline Police Department, the Kewanee Police Department, the Henry County Sheriff’s Department Auxiliary, the Henry County State’s Attorney’s Office and the Illinois Attorney General’s Office forensics division.
