Galva Ill. Chapter BR, P.E.O. announced that McKenna Anderson is the winner of the P.E.O. STAR Scholarship and the Chapter BR Scholarship.

The P.E.O. Sisterhood is one the largest community-based women’s organizations in North America with almost 200,000 active members. The organization provides loans, grants and scholarships for women through its six philanthropies. The P.E.O. Sisterhood is committed to helping women achieve their educational goals.

Anderson is a 2026 graduate of Galva High School and was awarded the scholarships for demonstrating excellence in leadership, her extracurricular activities, community service, academics and potential for success.

Both the P.E.O. International STAR Scholarship and local Chapter BR Scholarship recognizes the accomplishments of graduating high school women planning to pursue post-secondary education.
