The Galva Craft Show is currently celebrating its 43rd year. The annual show is always held the third Saturday in October. This year, the event is set for Oct. 21.
The Beta Sigma Phi sororities of Galva will host at the Galva High School from 9 am until 3 pm. There are over 80 wonderful vendors featuring handmade items. A homemade BBQ lunch includes a sandwich, chips, drink and a homemade dessert.
All proceeds of the craft show will be donated back into the community. Among some of the recipients of the funds are: the Galva Fire Department, Galva Food Pantry, Galva Public Library, Galva School District, Galva Lions Club Empty Stocking Fund, Honor Flight and countless others.
Beta Sigma Phi includes two chapters- Xi Kappa and Lambda Nu. The chapters also honor two graduating senior girls from Galva High School with a $500 scholarship each.
More information about the event can be found at galvacraftshow.weebly.com or on the craft show Facebook page: Galva Craft Show. People are invited to like and follow the page. Applications for vendors will be accepted up until the day before the show.
