An event to raise awareness to stillbirth and infant loss will be held at Veterans Park in downtown Galva on Sunday, Oct. 7. The Walk for Angel Babies is the first ever walk of its kind in Galva and organized by Nikki Hogan and her mother, Teresa Costin.

The walk will be from 2 to 3 pm. Participants can walk whatever length of time they are comfortable with. In addition to the walk, a raffle is planned from 1 to 6 pm, with raffle items and a 50/50 drawing held across the street from the park at Crescent City Tap.

Cash donations for participation are payable on the day of the walk. T-shirts, hoodies and other items are available for purchase through Uncommon Grove website and the event Facebook page.
