Spring is just around the corner and nothing shouts spring like the annual Kewanee Park District Easter Egg Hunt.

Easter comes early this year at the end of March, so the egg hunt will be early as well.

The KPD event is set for Saturday, March 23 at 10 a.m. at Windmont Park. Five age groups, from 0-10, will hunt for eggs that can be traded for candy.

Kids will be able to get their photo taken with the Easter Bunny and attendees are reminded to bring their favorite Easter basket along with them.

In case of inclement weather, such as rain or even snow, which can be the case in March, the rain date is set for Saturday, March 30.
