Participants of the 2023 Trunk or Treat dressed up in a bee theme. The annual event is held in the Good’s parking lot.

Planning is underway for the annual Good’s Trunk or Treat, a popular addition to the Enchanted Pumpkin Festival. Registration is now open for those interested in participating in the car display.

“Last year’s Trunk or Treat was another great success for the community,” said Kaleigh Good. “We couldn’t have done it without our dedicated volunteers—you truly bring the magic to this event.”

This year’s Trunk or Treat will take place on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Good’s Furniture parking lot, located at the corner of Main and Third Streets. To reserve a spot, call 309-937-5656 or email inquiry@goodsfurniture.com. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.

The deadline to sign up is Oct. 11. All participants must arrive the day of the event by 1 p.m. and remain parked until the event concludes at 5 p.m.

The parking lot will be closed on the day of the event for setup. Each participating vehicle is required to provide candy or a themed giveaway for approximately 500 trick-or-treaters. Candy runners will be available to assist with restocking as needed.
