Country artist Sydney Adams will be the headliner at Sunday’s Levitt concert series in Galva’s Wiley Park.
Rachel Brooke will open the concert at 6 p.m., followed by Adams at 7.
Born and raised in southeastern Kentucky, Sydney has practically been singing from the time she could talk. She has been performing on stage since she was just 12 years old. Soon after, at the age of 15 she began writing her own songs.
Sydney has been hard at work, keeping a full touring schedule where she’s opened for names like Ricky Skaggs, Lonestar, Deanne Carter, Tracey Lawerence, Ward Davis, Sunny Sweeney, and Kylie Frey just to name a few.
With her traditional songwriting, sweetheart demeanor, powerhouse vocals, and dynamic stage presence, Sydney has the respect and love of most anyone who has the privilege to watch her perform.
Sydney released her first EP “Always Home to Me” in 2019. She dropped a single titled “It Never Was” in 2021. Most recently Sydney released her newest 5 track EP titled “A Lot Like You.”
She released her next single earlier this year. All of these songs can be downloaded and streamed on most any platform.
Sydney was named Kentucky Music Hall of Fame’s Artists in Residence for 2022. She was also named one of Kentucky’s Top 10 Country Artists by Matt Wickstrom Journalist.
Matt describes her as “a powerhouse voice that no doubt deserves a shot on some of Nashville’s (and elsewhere’s) biggest stages.”

Rachel Brooke is quite the paradox: a seasoned songwriter who perfectly embodies the music of the American South but lives in the wilds of Michigan.
She grew up performing with parents in the family bluegrass band but spent her teen years raging away in an all-girl punk band.
An introvert off stage, her wall-shaking voice has earned her a place at cutting- edge roots music festivals like Muddy Roots, SXSW, AmerianaFest, Mountain Top, and the Rochester International Jazz Festival.
She’s icon of underground country, whose newest critically acclaimed album has been featured in major media outlets like CMT, Parade Magazine, Glide, and Cowboys and Indians, and garnered the attention from Nashville big-wigs.
There is no admission charge for the Levitt concerts, and food will be available in the park.
