Richmond Hill Players kick off their 2026 season with The Charitable Sisterhood of the Second Victory Trinity Church, written by Bo Wilson and directed by Mike Skiles. Local actors from Geneseo, Colona, Kewanee, Morrison, Atkinson and Moline band together to put on this uplifting tale of community spirit.

The Charitable Sisterhood of the Second Trinity Victory Church follows five determined women who refuse to let a little bad weather stand in the way of doing good. When these ladies meet to organize a relief for homeless Guatemalans, they are met with a mountain of donations and quickly realize that one woman’s junk is another woman’s treasure. Come sit in on this month’s meeting in the basement of Second Trinity Victory Church as the women do their best to help victims of global disaster, spiritual deprivation and, most of all, one another. Overflowing with wit and warmth, this comedy celebrates friendship, faith and the unpredictable power of community.

The cast features Tifany Simosky, Dana Skiles, Larry Lord (Geneseo); Melanie Gillespie (Colona); Elissa Dynes (Kewanee) and Jalayne Riewerts (Morrison). The staff includes stage manager Cali VanZandt (Atkinson), light and sound designer Dana Skiles, light and sound operator David Shaffer (Moline) and set builder Jim Skiles (Colona).
