On Dec. 20, the KHS wrestling team hosted a triangular conference meet with Sterling Newman Central Catholic and Monmouth Roseville. The Boilers narrowly lost to Newman (32-34) and easily handled Monmouth Roseville (66-6).
The wrestling girls also had a tournament on Dec. 21, where Hailey Lampe went 3-2, placing 13th in the 115 class, and RaKiya Amos went 4-1, placing ninth in the 145 class.
The team will be in action next Saturday, Jan. 4 at 10 a.m. in Brockman Gym, hosting four other schools.
