Lyric Duytschaver delivered a dominant pitching performance on Tuesday, throwing a shutout to lead the Kewanee Boiler Girls to a 9–0 victory over Princeville.

Kewanee seized early momentum in the top of the second inning. Addy Yepsen opened the scoring with a two‑run double, followed by an RBI double from Duytschaver and a run‑scoring single from Remy Hicks to make it 4–0.

The Boiler Girls kept the pressure on in the third. Macee Pickering tagged up to score, and Aaliyah Swearingen ripped a single down the left‑field line, bringing in another run as the lead grew.

Kewanee finished the game with 10 hits. Hicks and Pickering each recorded two hits, while Yepsen went 1‑for‑3 and led the team with three RBIs.

Yepsen, Rylee Blades and Audrey Clucas each swiped multiple bases to fuel the offense.

Next up, Kewanee heads to Erie on Thursday for a conference rematch.
