
Jendayia Crowe and Damaris Diaz each recorded first-place finishes Tuesday as the Kewanee High School girls track team hosted a quadrangular meet.
The Boiler Girls competed against Sherrard, Fulton and Rock Falls.
Crowe finished first in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 49.91 seconds. Her time of 17.72 seconds was good for second place in the 100-meter hurdles.
Diaz threw for 9.81 meters to take home first-place honors in the shot put.


Team scores were: Sherrard 106, Fulton 109, Rock Falls 37 and Kewanee 27.
