On Monday, the AW Titans Track team attended an outside meet at Monmouth United.

Other teams participating were Cambridge, Princeville and ROWVA Williamsfield, and the sun made an appearance, making it an optimal day for the meet.

The Titans boys placed first in the mile and the two-mile, and second in the mile and the 4×100 relay. The boys placed third in the 4×400 relay, 110m hurdles and the mile.

In field events, boys placed first in shot put and second in high jump and long jump.

The AW Titans girls placed first in the 200, 400 and 800. They placed second in the 4×400 relay and third in the 4×100 relay, 4×200 relay and 4×800 relay.

For girl’s field events, the team scored first in high jump, long jump and triple jump. The girls placed second in triple jump and high jump.

Overall, AW Boys placed third, and the girls landed in second.
