On Saturday, the Annawan-Wethersfield Titans competed in the 47th annual Patriot XC Invite at Detweiller Park in Peoria. 

At this meet, both the boys and girls Titans had a great meet, achieving five new personal bests. 

The boys achieved three new personal bests: Senior Noah Feltner ran a 16:02, junior Cash Verstraete ran a 16:39 and freshman Tyler Finn ran an 18:14.

The girls achieved two new personal bests: Junior Alexis Wilson ran a 22:54 and junior Makenna VerKruyse ran a 26:23.

The A-W girls finished the meet off by placing 30th overall with a total of 770 points.

Shelbyville took first place with 122 points.

Next weekend, the Titans will run at the IHSA 1A XC Regional Meet at Saukie Golf Course in Rock Island.
