Aktion Club members Erick Sierra and Jonathon Bral recently delivered boxes of winter clothing to State Rep. Travis Weaver’s Kewanee office.

The items were collected as part of Rep. Weaver’s Winter Clothing Drive, an effort to support local students and families during the coldest months of the year.

The Aktion Club partnered with the Kewanee High School FFA for this service project, helping gather donations of coats, hats, gloves, sweatshirts and other cold‑weather essentials. Club members played an active role in the effort.

Abilities Plus staff said they are proud of the members’ commitment to community service and their willingness to support a project that directly benefits their neighbors.
