The Annawan-Wethersfield boys and girls competed in the Ed Schmidt Track and Field Invitational Friday at Erie. The girls scored 106 points and topped the field of five teams and the boys placed fourth.

The Titan girls won four of six individual running events and swept the relays, winning all four. Kennady Anderson won the 400 and 3200 meter races and ran legs on the winning 4×400 and 4×800 relays. 

Camryn Anderson took first in the 800 meter run and was a member of the winning 4×400 and 4×800 relays. Ava Landwehr had a winning effort in 200 meter dash. 

The winning 4×100 relay is made up of Clara Bella VanOpdorp, Alevia Dickens, Emilia Escareno and Tyra Jones. Members of the winning 4×200 relay are VanOpdorp, Jones, Escareno and Kaylee Celus. 

VanOpdorp and Alexis Wilson make up the 4×400 relay and Paige Sierens and Wilson round out the 4×800 relay.

Ayden DeValkenaere was the lone boys’ winner for the Titans. He won the shot put and placed third in the discus.
