This past week, a group of nine AW girls traveled to Charleston, Illinois to compete in the 1A IHSA State track and field championship. 

The athletes being:

Kyleigh Anderson: 4×800, 4×400, and 4×200

Abbey Carman: Pole Vault, 4×200, and 4×400

Kyra Galbraith: 4×200

Lucy Landwehr: 4×800

Jordan Nelson: High Jump and 4×400

Alexis Wilson: 4×800

Tyra Jones: 4×200

Camryn Anderson: 4×800, 4×400, and 800m

Megan Oliver: 4×200 alternate 

The 4×800 placed 11th in prelims with a time of 10:05.04. On Saturday, they placed 12 in the finals with a time of 9:59.61. 

Stark County took the title of the 4×800 State Championship, with a time of 9:24.77.

The 4×200 took 36 in prelims, with a time of 1:51.89

The 4×400 took 19 in prelims, with a time of 4:14.27

Camryn Anderson placed 20 in the 800m prelims, with a time of 2:25.08

Abbey Carman took 21 in the pole vault prelims, with a height of 9’0
